Aspen3

The Aspen3 comes up after a long period of developement. Now, the Gradient-Team finished the final tuning of it’s new sport-class climbing machine. After a great worldwide success of the predecessor model Aspen2, the Aspen3 now hits the target of ambitious XC-pilots even more intense. Gradient perfectionized it’s special lightweight construction and managed it to reduce the glider’s weight even more. The new profile shows a higher degree of effectiveness in converting the airstream. It works much more efficiently throughout the whole span. But it’s not just the wing’s performance to gain profit because of that. It’s in the updrafts where the new profile shows it’s biggest strength: the Aspen3 has an extremely low curve sinkrate. That`s why the world’s updrafts become the wing’s easy prey. Concerning climbing performance the Aspen3 easy matches with open class competition gliders.
Flying full accelerated the Aspen3 comes up with another trump card: Stability. This was another main subject in optimizing the wing’s XC-characteristics. With that, a safe foundation was given for the XC-pilot’s chase of miles. Perfection is a question of detail. Components of the Aspen3 come from renowned manufacturers and exist of materials of the highest quality. For developing all components, Gradient works in tight co-operation with the manufacturers. Shape, material and functionality of each Aspen3 component follows the rules of science. In combination with elegant solutions in aerodynamics the Aspen3 is again a glider to fit perfectly into the Gradient-philosophy: creating pure and clean wings which are living of ideas. Technical improvements
-thin competition risers to reduce the drag. Main parts of the riser are reinforced to guarantee sufficient load-bearing capacity
-special adapted Peguet carabiners to reduce the drag and the weight without losses on stability
-light pulleys to reduce the glider weight
-special shaped rib reinforcements to optimize the spread of the wing load at the ankle points of the lines
-special competition gallary line conception to reduce the drag
-dust protected swivels at the break handles Gradient Quality
Flying Gradient means taking advantage of a company that is working with the greatest care in paragliding construction for more than 13 years. An own production of the company lies at the same place of the developement section in Prag, Czech Republic, Europe. With this, a quick realization of ideas is possible and a permanent control of quality is guaranteed throughout the period of production. Before delivering a new wing, each glider has to pass a final quality-check. Since after being flown by a Gradient-testpilot a glider is allowed to be sent out to the Gradient-contributers all over the world. Together with a new wing Gradient gives a standard two years product guarantee to the pilot. In the same time Gradient offers a special bonus – one year „ Free repair free of charge“.
Experience, innovation and conscientiousness build the foundation of Gradient- a company that is in service to the pilots.
